Missions

We are a mission minded church and support the Cooperative Program, State, National, and International missions. We have also sent out and fully support a family from our church full time to Peru for the past 10 years along with its 4 mission points.

Pure Gospel to Peru

After Serving as pastor of a church in the Jones Baptist Association, Glenn Jones and his wife Julissa, who is Peruvian, sensed God calling them to serve as missionaries to Peru. After a vision trip to Peru in 2013, God confirmed the call to go as self-supporting missionaries, completely trusting Him to make a way. Shortly after returning to the States, they were led to become members of Tuckers Crossing Baptist Church. The Lord opened the heart of TCBC to support them financially and through prayer. The church has continued to support them to this day. The Jones Family began their Pure Gospel to Peru Ministry in August of 2014. By the Grace of God and the blessings of TCBC and other churches that have come alongside to support, the Jones Family is continuing their missionary work in four different mission points.

OUR HISTORY

Organized in September 1909, Tuckers Crossing Baptist Church built its first sanctuary on land donated by M.V. Tucker and his wife Sarah. New sanctuaries were built here in 1946 and 1971. After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, TCBC was used as a Red Cross disaster relief station.
